They see you big. They don't have to do a thing.

TV Video Call turns the TVs you already own into a way to see your family big. You call from your phone or tablet, and the TV at home answers automatically — the video call comes up, full and clear, over whatever was playing. From their side there's no remote to reach for and nothing to press. It's built for the people in your life who never learned to use the tech: parents, grandparents, anyone for whom "just video call" isn't a small thing.

Starter is 250 connection minutes a month for $5; Pro is 1,000 for $15. Each device in a call uses one connection minute per minute, so a 3-minute call between two screens uses 6. Cancel anytime — a 48-hour money-back window on your first renewal.

What the app does

Video calling, big on the TV

The call comes up on the TV, not a phone in a hand. At home, the person sees you big and clear — the part of a video call that feels like being in the room. The big screen is the whole point.

Calls answer automatically

You don't ring and wait for them to find the app and press accept. The video call comes up on the TV the moment you call — over whatever was playing. On their end there's nothing to press and nothing to learn, which is why the person who never learned the tech is still reachable.

The TVs you already own

No new device to buy and no box to set up. The living-room TV, the kitchen TV, the TV at their place — any Android TV becomes somewhere you can reach them.

A list of devices, one tap

Not a contact list with settings to dig through. Each entry is a TV with a place attached — Living Room TV, Dad's TV — so you always know who's home. One tap to call.

Connection minutes are counted per device in the call. A 3-minute call between two screens uses 6 connection minutes. Cancel anytime, keep your connection minutes until the end of the paid period, 48-hour money-back window on your first renewal — how it works.

One tap on your end. Nothing on theirs.

These screens are the app. Pick a device and press Call. On their end, the video call comes up on the TV — big and clear — and there's nothing for them to do. (Video is shown as a dot-screen placeholder, not stock footage.)

01Sign in on your phone with your email and password.
02Pick a TV from the list and press Call.
03The video call comes up on the TV automatically — they don't have to press a thing.

Pairing, step by step

01

On the screen

Open TV Video Call on the TV and choose Pair this screen. A QR code appears within a few seconds.

02

On your phone

Point your phone's camera at the code. Pairing happens through your account over the internet, so the phone and the TV do not need to be on the same Wi-Fi.

03

Name the TV

Give it a name your family already uses and put it in a room. It joins the list and, from then on, answers every call it gets automatically.

Questions, answered

Is this good for someone who isn't techy?
Yes — that's who it's for. On their end, they see a familiar big screen and the video call comes up with you on it; they don't have to find an app, pair anything, or press "accept." The only button anyone presses is yours.
Which devices does TV Video Call work on?
You call from an Android phone or tablet. The TV you're calling is an Android TV device — the living-room TV, or a streaming box running Android TV. Only TVs receive and answer; a phone or tablet can't be called to, it can only call. iOS, Fire TV, and Apple TV are not supported yet.
What happens when I run out of connection minutes?
New calls stop until your allowance resets at the start of the next month or you upgrade your plan. We never overage-charge — the meter in the app always shows what you have left and when it resets.
What exactly is the free trial?
Every new account gets 6 free trial connection minutes, once, so you can try a real call end to end. Each device in a call uses one connection minute per minute — a 3-minute call between two screens uses 6 connection minutes. When the trial is spent, you can start a paid plan.
Do I need to be at home to call?
No — that's a big part of the point. You call from work, across town, or from another country, and the TV at home answers wherever it's plugged in. Check in on Mom from a meeting, or have a face-to-face with Grandma instead of a phone call.
Is the TV hard to set up?
One scan. Open TV Video Call on the TV, choose Pair this screen, and point your phone at the QR code it shows. No account to make on the TV, no cables, no shared Wi-Fi. From then on the TV answers every call automatically.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Anytime, no questions asked — in the app under Plan & billing, or by emailing support from your account email. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep your connection minutes until the end of the period you paid for. There is also a 48-hour money-back window on your first renewal. Full refund policy.
